Welcome to the Eastern Sierra Region Women's Program! 

It is my pleasure to be your ESR Women's Program Advisor for 2023-24 season!  I hope to be a resource for you to connect with and create experiences to enhance your patrolling and personal life. 

The first women’s toboggan clinic I attended was at Heavenly in 2014. Trudy Nye organized an amazing day of skiing with PSIA clinicians and running toboggans. We learned a lot in the handles and on the tail rope as well as sharing amazing stories and challenges on our respective mountains while on the lifts.

That weekend excited me to be part of this program with so many talented and inspiring women. When like-minded individuals come together from a variety of backgrounds, magic happens!  

This year’s Women's Clinic will be held February 9-11 at Northstar. Skiers, snowboarders and nordic skiers are welcome. The cost is just $90.00 for three days, so ask for the days off and come play with us! Watch your inbox for an email to sign up or click here:

A little about me:

My husband and I moved to Reno in 2007. Since 2010, I have patrolled at Sky Tavern, the oldest and largest nonprofit “Learn-to-Ski” program in the country.  Since 1948, over 125,000 youth have learned to ski or ride at Sky Tavern, all under the guidance of volunteers. The program continues to grow, recently adding weekday high school race training, snowmaking. Sky Tavern has also added summer programming with mountain bikes, one-wheel competitions, concerts in the grove. …with much more in the works.    

When I am not skiing or patrolling, I enjoy golf and fly fishing among other pursuits.  

I am proud to serve as your ESR Women’s Program Advisor, perpetuating this wonderful tradition, and inspiring others to join us.
