The purpose of ski enhancement is to improve the ability to understand ski techniques and know when to use them. In addition to improving personal skiing abilities, it also helps you to express a ski technique to others. This helps transfer knowledge to the rest of the ski patrol.

Ski techniques evolve over the years as equipment changes. It is helpful to attend a Ski Enhancement Seminar yearly to keep up with the latest trends. You never stop learning how to ski.

Ski Enhancement Seminars are usually taught by certified PSIA instructors who are considered the best instructors at a resort. Learning from the best instructors ensures a high degree of skill is transferred to the patroller.

There are a number of ski enhancement seminars offered yearly.
Check the Regional, Divisional and National calendars for specific dates.

Squaw Valley Spring Seminar

Far West Division Winter Conference

NSP Patroller Education Conference

These are a few examples of places offering Ski Enhancement Seminars.
